How do interviews work at Autodesk?

While things may differ slightly by role, here’s an idea of what to expect:

  • Step 1: Preparation
Learn about Autodesk on our website and social media channels. Think about how your skills and experience align with a career here.

  • Step 2: Interviews
You will have 2-3 virtual interviews with the hiring manager and team members. Here’s where you can show why you’re a good fit for the role and ask questions.

  • Step 3: Assessment
You may be asked to take a technical assessment – this could be a simple coding question, or a 30–60-minute coding exercise.

  • Step 4: Decision
Once all interviews are complete, you will hear back from your recruiter with an outcome within two weeks.

If you have questions throughout the process, please connect with your recruiter.

“The most rewarding part of my internship experience was meeting and learning from some of the best people I’ve ever worked with. I became more detail-oriented and adaptable, felt more comfortable with formal communication, and developed work habits that I use to this day.”

– Cheryl Y., Sales Ops. Analyst
